Search Continues For Missing Colorado Man In Kenai River

The search continues for a Colorado man ejected from a boat on Kenai River near Centennial.  63-year-old Philip “Kurt” Keltner remains missing after four days of searching.
Keltner’s daughter, Melissa Games, said the Alaska State Troopers are still keeping an eye out even though the official search has been suspended. Further searches of the area are underway by the Alaska State Park Service.
Games: “The Troopers did call us last night, and said that they had some practice hours they needed to use for flying. That they did fly over the area.”
Wednesday at 10:30am, Games and other family members will be resuming their search on the banks of the Kenai River.  They are asking volunteers willing to help in the effort to meet at the Centennial Park loading dock.
Games: “Please help find our Dad, Kurt Keltner.  We are looking for any all volunteers for the search group, for anyone with access to boats and are willing to allow other volunteers on board to assist with searching the banks of the river.”
The cause of the boat malfunction if under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Alaska State Troopers at 907-262-4453.
